Oxford Loses Tough Road Game

Oxford, GA – The Men's Basketball team dropped their second game of the season in a contest against LaGrange College Reserve Squad. The final score was 79-68.

The Eagles had four players in double figures and were led by freshman Jermon Clark who had 13 points, 16 rebounds, and 4 blocks. Sophomore Ryan Kwong scored 13 points. Freshmen JJ Halaby and Aaron Gerber each had 12 points.

The Eagles did not have a good shooting performance only shooting 35% from the field and turning the ball over 24 times. The Panthers capitalize on these mistakes and was able to score 22 points of turnovers.

"We were lacking intensity on both ends of the court and it showed in our performance," stated Head Coach Roderick Stubbs. "We will look at film and learn from this game and move on."

The Eagles will have a chance to bounce back this Saturday, November 17th against New Rock Prep. The game is at Williams Gym and tipoff is scheduled for 6:00 PM.
