History

Re-established in 1999 by Dean Murdy, Emory Oxford Athletics has shown tremendous success in a short period of time. Four varsity sports were introduced in 1999, women's soccer, men's basketball, women's tennis and men's tennis. In 2014, men's soccer transitioned from a club sport to varsity. In fall of 2016, men's golf, women's golf, men's cross country and women's cross country were added bringing the total to 9 varsity sports. Oxford Athletics is committed to excellence both on and off the field, and the proof is below.
