Ewan Kim named CHL Student-Athlete of the Month for February 2024

The Center for Healthful Living (CHL) has recognized sophomore Ewan Kim of the men’s tennis team as the February Student-Athlete of the Month. This award recognizes a student athlete's commitment to the CHL's motto: Educate the Mind and Exercise the Body.

Kim, from Brentwood, Tennessee, plans to major in business. On the court, Kim is one of the two captains for the men’s team. In a recent match against Gadsden State Community College, Kim easily defeated his opponent by a score of 6-4, 6-1. Kim will be an asset to the team as they try for their eighth straight national championship, which will be played in May.

Outside of tennis, Kim stays busy as the secretary of health and development of the Guatemala Club and as an athletic manager. He was also a freshman representative for the BiotechBiochem Club last year. Back home, Kim is a tennis coach and volunteers at a local food bank.
