Men's Basketball Comes Up Short Against the Wolverines
The Oxford College of Emory University men's basketball team dropped their second straight game, falling to the Wolverine of New Rock Preparatory Academy. The Eagles lost 80-75 on Tuesday night in their final game of 2022.
Oxford had five players in double figures and was led by sophomore Justin Whitening, who scored a career-high 17 points while going 4-of-5 from three. Classmate Isaac Snyder contributed 15 points and ten rebounds. Fellow sophomore Nick Hardin scored 15 points and grabbed seven rebounds. Freshman Zuri Greene and sophomore KJ Walker each scored 10 points. Walker had a team-high eight assists and three steals.

- The Wolverines were dominant inside, outscoring the Eagles 58 to 30.
- The Eagles gave up 29 offensive rebounds, which led to 25 second-chance points for New Rock.
