Cougars Defeat Men's Basketball in Conference Play

The Oxford College of Emory University men's basketball loss to Central Carolina Community College on the road, 66-55. The Eagles now fall to 9-8 for the season and 0-2 in the conference. 

Sophomore Isaac Snyder recorded his 12th double-double of the season with 13 points and 14 rebounds. Classmate KJ Walker was the only other Eagle in double figures with 11 points. 

Key Stats:

• The Eagles shot a season-low 30.6% (19-of-62) from the field, while the Cougars shot 41.9% (26-of-62). 
• Oxford turned the ball over 19 times, leading to a 16-3 advantage on points off turnovers for the Cougars.
• Central Carolina held an 11-1 advantage in steals. 

The Eagles will return home and face Reinhardt University Reserve Squad on Tuesday, January 24th. Tipoff is at 7:00 pm.
