Men's Basketball Falls on the Road to Panthers

On Wednesday night, the Oxford College of Emory University men's basketball team lost to the Panthers of LaGrange College Reserve Squad, 96-80. The Eagles fall to 12-11 for the season. 

Freshman Ryan Kim made his first start of the season and scored a career-high 32 points to go along with four assists. Sophomore Isaac Snyder secured another double-double with 17 points and ten rebounds, while classmate Justin Whitening produced 12 points. 

Key Stats:

• Kim's 32 points is the first 30-point game for an Oxford player since 2020.
• LaGrange shot an impressive 50.7% from the field compared to Oxford's 41.2%. 
• LaGrange dominated inside, outrebounding the Eagles 48-33 and held a 54-38 advantage in points in the paint. 

Up next, the Eagles travel to Virginia to play a conference matchup against Mountain Gateway Community College. Tipoff is set for Saturday at 1:00 pm.
