Men's Basketball Picks Up Conference Win on the Road

The Oxford College of Emory University men's basketball team won their first conference game against Moutain Gateway Community College. The Eagles defeated the Roadrunners 72-66 in Clifton Forge, VA.
Sophomore Isaac Snyder led a trio of Eagles in double figures with 23 points and 11 rebounds, his 17th double-double of the year. Classmate Nick Hardin produced 15 points, while fellow sophomore Justin Whitening scored 13 points to go along with eight rebounds.

- Down four at halftime, Oxford used a solid second half to secure the victory.
- Oxford shot 50.9% compared to the Roadrunner's 39.4%.
The Eagles, now 13-11, will be back in action at home on Wednesday, February 15, against Southern Basketball Academy. Tipoff will be at 7:00 pm.
