Oxford, Ga. - The Emory Oxford men's soccer team fell to Southern Union State Community College at home by a score of 5-2.

The Eagles got off to a great start with sophomore Zachary Seneriz scoring less than 10 minutes into the game. Then Southern Union scored four straight goals before the half.

Seneriz scored again a little over five minutes into the second half, though South Union got the goal back seven minutes later. Sophomore Kenan Begovic assisted on Seneriz's goal.

First-year Henry Pickard led the Eagles with six shots. Seneriz had four shots.

In goal, sophomore Brendan Zelikoff made one save, while first-year Vaden Tekkam made three saves.

Emory Oxford will next travel to face USC Sumter on Saturday, Sept. 20 at noon.
