Oxford, Ga. - The Emory Oxford men's soccer team beat visiting Central Georgia Technical College 4-3.
After being down 1-0, sophomore Zachary Seneriz scored with less than 10 minutes left in the half to even the score. First-year Ethan Zelig assisted on the goal.
Seneriz scored again early in the second to put the Eagles up 2-1. Central Georgia got the goal back to tie four minutes later. Midway through the second, the Eagles scored twice within 10 minutes to take the lead. Sophomore Avi Miller scored with an assist from sophomore Mitch David. The next goal was scored by sophomore Elijah Miller, assisted by sophomore Aaron Simon. Central Georgia scored once more but were unable to tie the game.
Sophomore Brendan Zelikoff made two saves in goal. Sophomore Neal Konganda made one save.
The Eagles will next face Pellissippi State College at home on Saturday, Oct. 18 at 5 p.m.
