Men's tennis beats Gadsden State 8-1
Oxford, Ga. - The Emory Oxford men's tennis team defeated visiting Gadsden State 8-1.
All six singles for Oxford won their matches. First-year Michael Kurlyandchik easily won first singles 6-1, 6-1, while fellow first-year Eshaan Khera won 6-3, 6-0. First-years Kevin Luo (6-0, 6-4) and Alex Kassatly (6-2, 6-4) breezed through their first sets but were close in their second. First-years Ben Wu (6-4, 3-6, 10-6) and Skye Thomason (6-1, 6-3).
In doubles, Kurlyandchik/Luo won 8-2 and Kassatly/Khera won 8-4.
The team plays again at home tomorrow against The Citadel at 9 a.m.
